John O’Callaghan Feat. Josie – Out of nowhere (Original mix)

Save me…

Out of nowhere you said
Wait for me, wait for me
And out of nowhere you read
Straight into me, into me

Left me wanting to know
Where do we go, do we go
Somewhere dark and remote
I wanna know, wanna know

Is this real or am I just making this up?
Or will you be my surprise?
Don’t wake me up, wake me up

Is this real or you gonna sweep me off my feet
Or am I here foolishly
Waiting for a ghost to come and save me
Save me…

  1. Lyrical revision:

In the second verse the line is actually:

Out of nowhere you read straight into me, into me.

  3. “And out of nowhere you read
Straight into me” <— come on, first it does not make any sense, second You can here it very clearly she sings there "out of nowhere You RAN into me". Or is it just me?

  4. I initially was hearing it as “read straight into me” but after listening over and over again, I believe it’s “ran straight into me.”

Either way, I think it makes perfect sense. A beautiful love song.

  6. I think she says:

“Is this real (or) am I just making this up?”

I don’t hear the “or”, but it makes sense. Maybe she doesn’t say it, though.

Grrrreat song! It really sweeps me off my feet (I didn’t know this idiom, haha).
